We request monthly donations direct to the club, in-line with methods used by other clubs. This ensures all players help to contribute and simplifies matters for managers and parents; and as a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) it also allows us to receive a tax break through giftaid, which is ploughed straight back into the club for all to share.
The membership includes a one off signing-on donation and then a monthly standing order (for a further 7 months). When matches are postponed, this will not affect monthly donation which will remain the same from month 2 to month 8. The exceptions to this will be players on long term injury which will be reviewed by the committee. Missing a match through short-term injury or being unavailable for selection for personal reasons will not affect the fees payable.
Teams using ‘The Priory’ or other training facilities paid for by the club and or have the use of professional coaching will be requested to increase their donation, as not all teams use them and those who didn’t use them would otherwise be subsidising those that did.
