The Club is run on a volunteer basis, with all management and committee members giving their time freely. Players are asked to contribute to the club, which allows us to maintain our ground, provide some professional coaching, kit and equipment for all our players.
Our fee structure can be seen in the table below
In addition in this table, we have suggested a voluntary donation. This donation is entirely at your discretion and is not part of the fee. As a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) a donation allows us to receive a tax benefit through Gift Aid from HMRC, which can then be ploughed straight back into the club for all to share.
This money will be used in a number of ways, including improving the facilities and supporting hardship cases so that the club remains widely accessible.
Payment of the fee, and of any donation you care to make, can be made in full or via a monthly standing order (for 8 months). If you are using a standing order then please use the appropriate standing order form (click here) sign and return it back to the Membership Secretary.
When matches are postponed, this will not affect the monthly payment; it will remain the same from month 2 to month 8. The exceptions to this will be players on long term injury, which will be reviewed by the committee. Missing a match through short-term injury or being unavailable for selection for personal reasons will not affect the fees payable.
Teams using ‘The Priory’ or other training facilities paid for by the club, and/or have the use of professional coaching will be requested to increase their payment, as not all teams use them. Without this additional charge, those who did not use them would be subsidising those that did.
The club recognises that even our costs may be too expensive for some families and as a community club our paramount goal is for young people to play and enjoy football. We, therefore, have the facility to reduce costs in appropriate situations. Please just contact your manager and they will contact a member of the committee with complete discretion and discuss cases on an individual basis.
